Manufactured by Iver Johnson for The American Historical Foundation, this M1 Carbine is one of only 2500 guns manufactured in the 1980's. It features special inscriptions, gold plated small parts, and a hand finished deluxe walnut stock with special commemorative medallion inset on the right side of the butt. Condition is excellent and the gun remains unfired. There are only a couple of small handling marks which have occured over the 24 years since the gun was made. There is no rust or pitting. I'd grade the gun at 99%+ overall. Comes with an excellent condition WWII era 15-round magazine and also includes the original letter of authenticity and the original shipping documents.
