Its action, then, is very similar to the center fire Sigs but it has an additional safety feature. The safety does not de-cock the pistol, but that can be safely performed by means of the trigger, only if the safety is engaged. Here is what the factory says about the Mosquito: The Mosquito features a polymer frame, Picatinny Rail, and chambered in22LR. The slide features adjustable sights, fixed barrel, two 10 round magazines and superior ergonomic grip. Also internal locking device and ambidextrous safety. Factory specs are: Single and Double action semi-auto pistol, caliber .22 LR; 10 + 1 capacity; manual safety and magazine safety; composite grips; contrast 3-dot sights; 4 inch barrel with integral Picatinny Rail on the Frame; weight 24.7 oz empty; winter digital finish. This pistol is a tactical trainer as well. The Winter Digital is a special edition that is no longer in production.
