Serial number 261165P dates to 1942. Caliber is .22 Long Rifle. This Model PP has Nazi Eagle N proofmarks, located on the slide, barrel and frame. Matching serial numbers on the frame and slide. No import marks. The left side of the slide has the Walther banner and is marked "Waffenfabrik Walther Zella Mehlis (Thür), Walther's Patent Cal 22, Mod PP". The right side of the slide has the serial number and Eagle N proof. The Model PP (meaning "Police Pistol"), is a semi-auto double action pistol, with blued finish, a 3 7/8 inch barrel, fixed sights and black plastic grips with the Walther banner. Magazine (blued, no markings) holds 10 rounds. This gun is in very good used condition. We estimate bluing at about 90%. There are a few light scratches, no pitting on the metal. Grips are excellent with no cracks or chips. Bore is bright. The gun has been test fired and is in perfect working condition. No box or papers. Free Shipping. No credit card fees.
