Colt 1860 Army revolver. From a Mid-west gun sale a 44 cal. percussion Colt 1860 army model revolver with shoulder stock. Mfg. 1864 with "Address Col. Saml Colt New-York U.S. America" address on the 8" barrel, vary faint (see photo). The cylinder scene is also very faint (see photo). "Colt's Patent" on left side of frame. All visiable numbers match and there is a small w just behind the trigger guard bow. The finish is a mottled grey with some areas of minor pitting (see photos). The wood of the grips and stock have a few dents and dings but no chips or cracks with the exception of an old repair at the butt of the stock (see photos). The gun is good mechanically and functions as it should. I am not a Colt expert but have been told that the stock was not produced by Colt but fits the gun perfectly. Satisfaction guaranteed.
