AMERIGLO’s Haven Red Dot and New Iron Sights — SHOT Show 2023

The AMERIGLO Haven® Red Dot and New Iron Sights

AMERIGLO was happy to show me their Haven red dot as well as their new and improved iron sights at their SHOT Show booth.

Known throughout the industry for its reputable iron sights, AMERIGLO entered into the world of electronic optics with the Haven red dot. It has some neat features which are listed below.

  • Side Loading Battery

  • Dot Size: 3.5 MOA, 5.0 MOA
  • Battery: CR2032
  • Battery Life Setting 4: 1 year (constant on)
  • Brightness Settings: 11 brightness settings, 2 NV

Clean dot, and a slightly blue tint on the window of the glass. Clear with very minimal distortion. Better clarity than an RMR.

Featuring an RMR footprint, the AMERIGLO Haven is ready to mount to many existing slide cuts or optic plates currently on the market. One of the biggest perks of this red dot is its ability to change batteries without removing the optic itself.

The Haven utilizes a side-loading battery compartment to allow users to never worry about losing their zero when a battery goes dead. Running on a single CR2032 battery, AMERIGLO states that the optic will last for a year when set to the mid/high setting and constantly on.

This optic also incorporates a sort of shake-awake system to help preserve the battery. The Haven offers “a 12-hour runtime followed by a 12-hour, motion-activated auto-on, providing up to two years of battery life at a mid-setting.”

However, holding down the button for 2 seconds turns it into lockout mode to keep the brightness from being adjusted.

Easy-to-use brightness buttons on the left side of the optic

AMERIGLO also just launched a new lineup of iron sights that are shorter than previous models. This allows them to be optic-compatible. Some even have enough clearance to work with the Haven red dot sight.

These are available in multiple different styles with multiple different front sight configurations.

The AMERIGLO Haven is available and shipping now. MSRP for both 3.5 MOA, and 5.0 MOA versions come in at $379 while the MSRP for either red dot with “Carry Ready” iron sights is $439.

However, the current street price for just the Haven is running at just around $230.
