Similar to the RM66, the RP63 has a crisp single-action trigger, a hammer-mounted firing pin for increased reliability, and a rubber wrap-around grip that helps reduce perceived recoil.

While the rear sight is non-adjustable since it is machined into the revolver, the front sight is ramped for a snag-free draw. This shorter 3″ barrel is optimized for concealed carry and maneuverability. Rossi designed it as a revolver to be comfortable to carry and fun to shoot.

While these new Rossie revolvers are harkened back to the 1970s, they get all the benefits from modern manufacturing. Available and shipping now, the RP63 has an MSRP of $461 and the RM66 has an MSRP of $621.

What types or brands of front sights are compatible with the Rossi RM66 357 magnum with 6 inch barrel? Also is the revolver 6 inch model drilled and tapped under rear sight for use with a red dot mount adapter It looks like it’s about the same as the S&W 357 magnum revolvers with adjustable rear sights

Thanks for the article, but why do you write about Rossi revolvers while displaying photos of revolvers with a sideplate that reads “Taurus”?
