My first handgun was a Smith & Wesson Model 15, formally owned by a retired deputy sheriff whose widow sold to me through the guy who taught everything about proper shooting and reloading!
Still have it today and it still works like a champ and has been recondition only once by Smith and Wesson many years ago!
I carried that pistol open and concealed from many many years until I finally purchased a Smith and Wesson Glock clone, the venerable M&P ShEILD 9!
It also had a trigger job done on it by my firearms mentor and everyone who shoots it for the first time, I warn them, when they think about pulling the trigger they’ve already done it! 👏🏽 👍🏼☺️
Also the double action on it is so silky smooth and easy that you can rip off six rounds like it was fully automatic! 👏🏽 👍🏼☺️

I would certainly like to see all the great classic revolvers available as new products. Just removing the “Hillary Hole” does not do it for me. If they want to make a real classic how about bringing back the target hammer and target trigger? Get back to the option of the “Three T’s.” Take it a bit further and do the Three T’s along with HiViz front sights. Twenty years ago they made a 7 shot L frame with HiViz sights and for me it is a huge improvement over any of their other sights I have used.

Hillary ain’t gonna be happy S&W is messing with her hole.

I read the article twice but maybe I missed it. Are they made with two piece barrels assemblies?

They ruined the profile of the J, K, and L frame revolvers when they implemented the lock. Glad that device is gone, now if they will realize they really need to restore the aesthetic pre-lock contour of the frame, but I doubt they will. At least these revolvers lost the lock!
