All I Want for Christmas 2016

Okay kids, that time of year is here when the Christmas family gift exchange happens. Remember last year, when were both stuck looking at each other awkwardly in the room, me pretending I like my gift, you pretending you put some thought into it? :) So, let’s cut to the chase this year. Here’s some really cool range gear that I would really like for Christmas.

There’s just something about shooting rimfires. Even with all the cool calibers I get to test out, I never, ever tire of shooting rimfire pistols and rifles. Maybe they just bring one back to the pure joy of plinking. The lack of noise, muzzle blast, and recoil isn’t a bad thing either as you can focus on the pure enjoyment of shooting. Even with the higher prices of rimfire ammo these days, you can do a whole lot more shooting for your dollar.

Let’s be honest. Gun owners got the only Christmas present they really needed on November 9 when Hillary Clinton gave her concession speech. Donald Trump’s victory likely saves us from another two years of ammo shortages and, more importantly, another four years of “assault weapon” ban threats. Still, AR-15s have been on my mind ever since the primaries. I started purchasing AR parts when the first election polls showed Trump losing by double-digits, and I went into full prepper mode in the days before the election.

I’ll share my Christmas list with you, just for fun – or in case you’re looking for ideas of your own to begin hinting at – or maybe because there is an enthusiast on your list and you need ideas. Whatever the interest, here are the top five that come to mind for me this season.

I am putting together a suppressor-oriented Christmas wish list. So here is a little insight into the goodies I want for Christmas, and would be good for the suppressor-owning or soon-to-be owning person in your life.

Well, here we are, knocking on the door of Christmas. I can tell, my Visa card is getting warm. One thing about the gunfighter or aspiring gunfighter in your life, they can be very hard to shop for. It’s a lot like having a kid that is into Dungeons & Dragons. If you don’t walk in that world, you probably have no idea what is cool and what is lame. Not to worry ladies and gents, Uncle Clay is here with a rock solid, all-American, never fail, all go, no quit, sure fire, John Wayne approved shopping list. Grab your checkbooks, it’s about to get gangster.
