The Seekins PH3 Rifle Has Changed the Game! — SHOT Show 2025

in Riley Baxter, SHOT Show 2025

As a long-time enthusiast of precision rifles, I’ve enjoyed my share of them, but the Seekins HAVAK PH3 is in a league of its own.

Whether you’re after the precision of long-range shooting, a rifle that can handle tough conditions or a system that makes switching calibers as easy as a few quick twists, the PH3 has you covered.

Let me walk you through what makes this rifle stand out.

A rifle is balanced on a rock. It has a spiral fluted barrel and an orange camo pattern on the stock.
The Seekins PH3 is just as attractive looking as their past models, but basically every component has been upgraded in some way.

More On The PH3

The HAVAK PH3 is smooth and quick to operate, thanks to the short bolt throw. It features Seekins’ new 3-lug bolt design, with a 60-degree bolt throw. Disassembling the bolt is completely tool-free—whether you’re cleaning it or swapping out calibers, you won’t need any fancy tools.

Speaking of swapping calibers, the Quick Change Barrel System is one of the PH3’s standout features. I’ve swapped barrels on rifles before, but nothing has been this easy. With this system, you can change calibers without a hassle, and it’s all tool-less. It’s perfect for anyone who likes to experiment with different cartridges or needs a rifle that can adapt to various shooting scenarios.

The PH3 is available in a variety of calibers, so whether you’re into 6mm Creedmoor, .308 Win, or something heavier like the 300 PRC, there’s a barrel setup for you. To further increase your options, Seekins has made their barrel specs open source, so any gunsmith can cut an aftermarket barrel for your PH3.

The PH3 Action is compatible with the Seekins M3 Chassis and stocks. The M3 carbon composite stock features a mini-chassis, meaning the carbon stock is one of the stiffest on the market with its internal aluminum support.

The trigger Tech Primary trigger that this rifle features is adjustable between 2.5-5lbs and you get a clean, crisp break every time. The full-length M-LOK rail offers plenty of space for accessories, and the adjustable cheek riser ensures you have a comfortable and consistent shooting position, whether you’re shooting prone or off a bench.

Also, you likely won’t need it, but you’ll appreciate that Seekins backs their rifle with a no-questions-asked lifetime warranty. If something goes wrong, you’re covered.

Multiple Color Options

For those who care about aesthetics, the HAVAK PH3 comes in three color options: Mountain Shadow, Urban Shadow, and the newly introduced Woodland Shadow.

These color schemes not only look good but help blend the rifle into its environment, making it ideal for hunters or tactical shooters.

Caliber Options

  • Short Action, 20” barrel: 6mm Creedmoor, 6.5mm Creedmoor, 6.5 PRC, .277 FURY, .308 Win
  • Short Action, 24” barrel: Same options as the 20″ barrel, with extended range
  • Long Action, 22” barrel: 7mm Rem Mag, 7 PRC, 7 Backcountry, 300 Win Mag, 300 PRC
  • Long Action, 26” barrel: Same as the 22” barrel, with even more velocity potential

With these options, you’ll have no trouble finding the right setup for your shooting needs, whether it’s varmint hunting, big-game hunting, or long-range precision shooting.

Final Thoughts

At $1,895, the Seekins HAVAK PH3 isn’t the cheapest rifle on the market, but it’s absolutely worth every penny. With its innovative features like the Quick Change Barrel System, toolless bolt disassembly, and top-tier accuracy, it’s clear this rifle was designed with precision shooters in mind.

Whether you’re a hunter, a long-range enthusiast, or someone who likes a versatile, reliable rifle, the PH3 is built to meet your needs. I firmly believe that you can’t find a rifle with this incredible feature set for anywhere near this price.

If you’re ready to take your shooting to the next level, the Seekins HAVAK PH3 might just be the rifle you’ve been looking for. With its performance, versatility, and attention to detail, it’s definitely a top contender in the world of precision rifles at SHOT Shot 2025.

I like the concept, switch barrel/caliber. Like others I would want to see some accuracy testing. The carbon fiber magazine concerns me a little.

I’ve previously contacted Seekins asking about the weight of the new rifle, specifically in the lightweight hunter model in 300WM, and received reply that they didn’t know weight yet! Were you able to get that info?

  • Joshua Maynard January 24, 2025, 11:00 am

You mentioned multiple features and specs twice, but it never crossed your mind to mention the weight?

  • Ron January 24, 2025, 9:38 am

Once again, no accuracy testin. If it doesn’t shoot, I’m not interested. Show me the target.

    • askren January 27, 2025, 1:47 pm
