Woke Hollywood Elites to Descend on NRA Meetings to Push Gun Control

(Photo: Time.com)

Wealthy Hollywood elites are descending on Dallas this week to protest the National Rifle Association’s Annual Meetings and Exhibits. Oh, and David Hogg. He’s coming too. No surprise there. Kid wants to squeeze every second he can out of his 15 minutes of fame.

“Charmed” actress Alyssa Milano is leading the charge. She’ll be joined by Jimmy Kimmel, Alec Baldwin, and Amy Schumer, among others. They’re calling themselves NoRA, which stands for No Rifle Association. Clever name… not really.

A few weeks ago, the group published an open letter calling down the thunder on the nation’s gun lobby. It’s actually pretty funny how over-the-top it is, particularly the parts about bloody checks and puppets.

“Your time signing checks in our blood is up,” they write. “We'[r]e a diverse, non-partisan coalition of activists, artists, celebrities, writers, gun violence survivors, and policy experts. We’re going to shine a bright light on what you and your organization to do America…We’re coming for your money. We’re coming for your puppets. And we’re going to win.”

Are you scared? LOL.

What these fools don’t realize is that this spectacle their planning at NRAAM is going to totally backfire. Seriously. I can’t think of a better way to harden the resolve of the NRA members than to stage an event where rich and famous hacks who are protected by men with guns rail on about how the rest of us need to turn em over.

SEE ALSO: Bill Maher on militarization of law enforcement

Yeah, okay. That’ll play well. Real well. To quote my man Ice T, “I’ll give up my gun when everybody else does.”

That Ice T interview is from 2012. By the way, it’s still as awesome today as it was the first time I watched it six years ago.

It’s such a poignant argument, though. You want us to disarm? Okay. You first. Let’s try this out. No more armed security for anti-gun actors, politicians, and activists. We’ll see how long they last.

SEE ALSO: Liam Neeson on U.S. Gun Ownership: ‘[Expletive] Disgrace’

You know, it reminds me of something nutty Bill Maher once said.  Sure, in the past, he’s called the 2A, and I quote, “Bullshit,” but even he won’t disarm.

“I say all the time on this show, as long as we live in the gun country, I ain’t giving up my gun,” said Maher in 2013. The HBO host of “Real Time” copped to owning two guns and mentioned how there were 12 home invasions in his neighborhood in one year.

When Michael Moore balked at the notion of Maher defending himself from a home intruder, the comedian replied, “As opposed to what? Just getting mowed down.”

You see, when push comes to shove, even most rabid Lefties recognize the natural right to self-defense. (Most, not all; Michael Moore apparently wants to be a victim).  Problem is, they only see it applying to themselves and their ilk.  This is why the NoRA protest is doomed to fail.  Do-as-I-say-and-not-as-I-do hypocrisy might work on Kindergarteners and daft liberals.  But it sure as heck won’t work on the five million men and women of the National Rifle Association.

Stay tuned.  We’re at NRAAM.  We’ll be there to watch this dumpster fire firsthand.  We’ll report back if it gets really stupid.

    Hmmm
    Try 6 million.

  • Will May 5, 2018, 11:29 pm

Nobody at the meetings will give a flying fig if libturds show up with bodyguards who may be armed. The libturds will be outnumbered by 10,000 to 1 by who are also armed and won’t take their crap. Not very good odds for the dimturds

  • Mott May 5, 2018, 12:05 pm

Let’s see them go around without their armed guards! I see a few faces that I will NEVER watch again!

  • Oaf May 4, 2018, 11:31 pm

You can bet your azz that every one of those Hollywood elites will have at least one bodyguard armed with a gun!

Not at the NRA meeting as its “No guns allowed” but you can bet the secret service are exempt ….

Join a local Credit Union. They issue their own Credit Cards. Funds are insured to $250,000 just like a bank. And because they are member owned and have local members on thier board, there is little chance getting caught up in Left Wing political idiotic ideas.

    Patriots Poem by Allen Buher

Lefties feel’n pretty dang stupid I see!
They understand little about the NRA, Second Amendment and Patriots like me!
You best heed my warning and let us be!
    Politicians, traitors, and thugs; terrorist, commies, and thieves;
Lefties all come’ma run’n for what ain’t theirs!
    I’ll fight’em, I’ll shoot’em, I’ll hang’em, I’ll even stab’em… O’Hell! I may blow one or two up!
    A grave o’ commie-liberal is were you’ll be!
You ain’t get’n my guns nor my family nor my land from thee! Not by God Grace which is upon me!
Not til’ the brass is piled high!
    No, not just yet!
Not til’ I pass from this world you’ll see!
Not til’ there be no breath or life found in me!

Has anyone done an in depth check on where the hog, uh Hogg is obtaining funds for all his in-American actions? This pig should be exposed for what he is.

    • LTC JR May 4, 2018, 10:42 am

That’s a really great idea! We all know the answer is CNN, Bloomberg, etc. we also know Delta gave three charter planes to fly parkland students to protest at DC.
That said, it would be nice to have confirmed evidence who is funding Hogg and crew then take out advertisements asking folks not to support them or any business assisting them.

I don’t see any Hollywood elites more like Hollywood loudmouths. I have never seen any of them except Alec Baldwin who started out doing a great Donald Trump on Saturday Night Live.

  • RJL May 4, 2018, 4:50 pm

When these Hollyweird Elites descend on the NRA gatherings, will they be without their hired armed security with all their semi-automatic, and automatic firearms, or just once again proof the Hypocrisy that “We the People” have always known about? Everyone of these elites have major skeleton’s in their closets. They can’t tell the difference between real life and the make believe acting world in which they work. Remember they are all actors and actresses, are they just acting, being useful idiots for the ones financing their lime light soap boxes? This has the ear-marks of a perverted culture war.
Mr. Alec Baldwin should talk to his brother Stephen, he might just learn something useful from a God-Fearing Man within his own family.

Two ideas to assist these elites.
    1) Set up a gun buy back table across the road from them and invite them to disarm their body guards in a show of faith and commitment to their cause.
    2) place a loaded (with blanks) AR15 and on safe of course, on the street between the elites and our guys on the opposite side. Then verbally dare the rifle to get up and shoot itself. I’m betting the rifle won’t do anything but lie there.
    Oh and 3). Do both!

How about the left, right, and the NRA all go back to what works? The NRA used education and attraction to get me into Gunning at the age of 12, or 54 years ago, and I am still going strong. But, The NRA has lost their way and their roots. Me I keep trying to Bring Them Into Gunning, or at least educate them so they know what they are talking about. Yet, I do that with both the left and the right as they are lacking in honest Gunner Skills, sorry but both sides simply suck. Get Em To Work Together For US.

  • Howard May 4, 2018, 1:03 pm

NRA should hold a class on the 2nd Amendment, gun ownership and safety for these people. That way, they might have some idea of what they are talking about! Doubt that it would work, but who knows!!

  • Martingard May 4, 2018, 12:51 pm

These hollywierd loons will show up and they WILL be the center of attention. The media will support these would be entertainers and crucify pro-gun folks. They really are nobodies but some very small and insecure people will follow along with great enthusiasm. Dragging that little hogg along with them will be noteworthy. Something tells me that totally ignoring
these butt-heads will help but damn I sure would like to break a couple of noses. That would only make it worse, however. Make like they aren’t even there and do absolutely nothing to further their agenda. Just smile and quietly tell them to fk off. Then deny you said anything.

“Everybody aboard for the NRA meetings. We’re going to give them HELL! Champagne and caviar at the bar in the back of the bus! Let’s GO!”

I drive straight to the nearest river, over the rail, plunge into the cold deep water.

Ooohhh! Too bad! None of them made it out!

    • jim May 4, 2018, 11:33 am

well, maybe not into the river but a nice drive wa-a-a-ay out in the boonies and let everyone off telling them a restocked bus will be along shortly for the return trip after their little temper-tantr…..er protest.
Then just leave them there to walk back!

  • Don Richardson May 4, 2018, 12:42 pm

As Ice T said, “You want us to disarm? Okay. You first. Let’s try this out. No more armed security for anti-gun actors, politicians, and activists. We’ll see how long they last.”
Yup, these Hollywood folks may be well known but the only thing we don’t know about them is whether they are hypocrites or just stupid (or both).
These folks live in gated communities with armed security 24/7. They value their own lives but tell us that we are evil if we value our lives, our families, our friends and our communities? They might be special but their lives are worth no more than mine. When they give up their armed guards and drive their own cars and walk around in public by themselves I might (perhaps) take them seriously.

  • Mike Bolton May 4, 2018, 12:36 pm

Maybe those hollywood elites should give back all that money they made from movies with graphic gun violence. And David Hogg is a full on bullshit artist. His story keeps changing. He wasn’t even at school.

  • Joshua Rees May 4, 2018, 12:36 pm

I have one simple question for the Hollywood elite. “ have you ever been all alone? With a human predator outside/inside your house? Or a actually dangerous wild animal?”. And the neighbors labradoodle doesn’t count. No. So focus your energy on what matters. Responsible firearms safety. And education. I have never pulled the trigger on my experiences with people who had theft, and maybe even violence in mind. Because I chose not to shoot some asshole in the back. Before that? I had major experience in self defense. I had a blade. But I never used it. It is there 24/7. But It was invisible. I have been told that during my prime, scrapping days. I should of done the world a favor. And maybe that’s true. But that’s from a mind that was not mine. I am not a pussy. And I am not a saint. But I am also not killing someone who looks at me funny. But that’s not always a choice. The point is that mass murder from a fire arm? is a chosen tool. A tool is an instrument for 99.9% of us. I can’t speak for the 0000001% I was not invited to the psycho crhristmas party. But don’t blame the people who don’t want anything but security. For the psycho kids who should not have access to a weapon from the start.

  • JungleCogs May 4, 2018, 12:34 pm

They say, “guns kill”… gosh, with all the firearms that will be there, how do they expect to get out of the place alive?!

  • Bill May 4, 2018, 12:18 pm

Since when did anyone care about what the so called Hollyweird “Elites” think anyway? Who cares what any celebrity thinks? They are schmuck’s just like the rest of us. They just happen to have enough money to hire people with guns to protect them and their property. It’s easy for them to point a finger at others and say “hey, you shouldn’t be allowed to own a gun, I don’t need one”. They should all be ashamed of themselves for being such hypocrites. Step out of your little fantasy world and put down your scripts for a moment and join the rest of us in the real world where crime is real and must be dealt with. Then let’s see what you think about gun control.

  • Mark E Brown May 4, 2018, 12:02 pm

WTF makes these people “elite?” I don’t see it. I have not even heard of most of them. Whoever they think they are they really are not! Just a bunch of idiots and you call them elite? You are giving them status they do not deserve, did not earn. To me elite is Airborne, Green Beret, SEALs, Force Recon, etc. Not a bunch of Hollywood idiots. Anyone else care to chime in on this? Feel free to contact me.

  • Monte Gray May 4, 2018, 11:30 am

I’m going to Reiterate what Ice T said. You first.

  • Robert May 4, 2018, 11:23 am

I wonder if all these Hollywood types will show up without their armed bodyguards.. Bunch of libtard hypocrites

  • RGE May 4, 2018, 11:22 am

You know I enjoyed watching many of these so called anti-gun actors/actresses and comedians over the years, but now I think I’ll just boycott them. They obviously can raise money from their own followers.

And so I would urge pro-2A members and non-members of the NRA to begin targeting businesses, airlines, bus companies, banks, movie studios and the like and just stop doing business with them. Spend your money “at home” with the people who agree with your stance on 2A. Its that simple.

And BTW, you know why Hillary Clinton lost? Because many people who believed in Trump’s message or just as likely DIDN’T believe in Clinton’s message, voted for trump without answering any polls, giving any opinions, etc.

We are the silent majority. And the anti-gun people want to smoke us out. So if you want to get the 2A right and keep it sacred, then you have to vote for and support not only candidates that support your rights, but also make sure that businesses that support your right get your business.

In the end, what you have is a over-vocal, overly aggressive minority of people screaming and yelling for “change” but the reality is they don’t want “change” they want POWER. And when power is concentrated in the hands of a few, that’s dangerous; without your 2A rights, they will use their guns to take you down.

That’s their real plan. Do you think they go without armed security? Not even a shred of evidence Amy Schumer walks the streets of NYC alone without a body guard somewhere nearby, well-armed and ready to defend. Rose O’Donnel? Remember her? Her bodyguard carried a SMG. Sheesh!

  • Pawl from Florida May 4, 2018, 11:17 am

Since when do Hollywood actors , who actually live in make believe worlds become important ? They along with sports figures are not roll models. Many of each group are violent . Are they going to give up their armed security ?

    • Roy May 4, 2018, 8:32 am

They are “important” only if we allow them to be by repeating their names. Pawl makes a good point and GA and everyone else needs to take notice. If you want to send someone on the left edge of the political isle over the edge, ignore them. That kid who wants his 15 seconds of fame, if blogs like this had refused to post his mug shot or use his name, and had simply referred to him as “some man-child that looks 14” he would have faded into anonymity from which he came. But his name is well known and we all recognize his face. He is doing this for fame and fortune, it is not about what is right or wrong, it is not about Blue Lives or any lives, it is about him. He has a stump to stand on and shout for attention – quit being the stump. The same applies to these actors. They pay for private security and live in gated communities with guards out front that only allow publicist and residents to enter. The only rifle, pistol, or revolver they have ever seen or touched was a prop. Stop giving them more props in the form of publicity. These actors are UN-inportant nobodies that are paid to entertain us and they need to know that their contribution to society begins and ends with that job description. Stop giving them any press and they will shut up and go back to work entertaining so they can pay for their private security.

  • M May 4, 2018, 11:13 am

I worked security at one time for Steve Harvey. He made a commit that no one should have a gun. He further stated that people like himself will always have armed security because they have money to afford it. The show Producer look at me and stated well I am cutting that statement. I was also one of eleven others that worked a anti violence protest. Funny how all these anti gun people always have someone around the armed.

  • Sandman May 4, 2018, 10:59 am

Come on–amy schumer–foul mouthed wanna be comedian ,Alec Baldwin—pathetic excuse for an actor–hot head
poster child for someone who should never be allowed to own a gun ,Jimmy Kimmel–a so called comedian in his own mind—–hoe have theses bottom feeders ever earned the title of Hollywood elite?????
As for the rest–who are they?
They are a conglomeration of why animals eat their young. Where or how have just one of them gained the education on fire arms to be qualified to dictate to the rest of the United States that “guns are bad” and should be outlawed.
Il bet they all refer to ARs and AKs ans full automatic rifles just like the brain dead news people.
I can hear them now”OH! BLACK RIFLES ARE BAD–OUT LAW THEM”—how about we change the color to pink just to confuse them and I know they would be totally confused and would probably take that bunch of morons months or years to figure that one out.
How about the BODY GUARDS they employ–let them be the first ones to DEMAND that their body guards give up their weapons—–you know that will NEVER happen you the same morons want the rest of use to give up ours.
What is happening to this country? Between the Hollywood nutjobs and the politicians listening to a bunch of high school kids who had their speeches written for them by some professional gun haters it is blinding far too many voters.
God save the U.S.A , the 2nd Amendment and the American Rifle Association—-all three are in jeopardy.

  • Barry D Thomas. May 4, 2018, 10:53 am

If they do protest outside NRAAM THEY SHOULD PHOTOGRAPH THE GROUP AND POINT OUT THE ARMED SECURITY. Like they did to a photo of obozzo surrounded by armed Secret Service. GUN. GUN. GUN. GUN with arrows to each one
A visual History of their BULLSHIT

  • joseph Kay May 4, 2018, 10:52 am

Why don.t they try making better movies instead if taking away RIGHTS.

  • NevadaVoter1 May 4, 2018, 10:45 am

Certainly happy I have both my AR 15 and my AK 47 already. Could I suggest that these anti NRA folks all be disarmed, remove their armed personal security guards and post their homes as ‘gun free zones’. Ain’t gonna happen, I think.

  • Luke May 4, 2018, 10:38 am

Many gun-owners are actively cutting their own throats here. ‘Actively’ is the operative word. Financial habits of many of us are working against the Second Amendment.

Do you really value your Constitution? Do you really value the Second Amendment? Does it REALLY piss you off that fools are trying to destroy the Second Amendment by abusing the First?

Conservative people do not organize well. We almost never openly protest anything. So, what can I ‘actively’ do as an individual that might make a difference besides vote? Here are some thoughts.
    _____________

*Is everybody who values their Constitutional liberty a member of the NRA? If not, why not? This is serious stuff. If gun owners lose the NRA, America loses the Second Amendment. It’s that simple now. Several generations of Americans have had a very soft life and now feel entitled and even obligated to destroy the Constitution.

*Outdoorsmen & women! Really? How many on these boards use Cabela’s or Bass Pro Shops credit cards?

*Home Improvement? How many use a Menard’s, Lowe’s or Home Depot credit card?

*Guns and Guitars? How many use a Sam Ash or Musician’s Friend credit card?

*Walton Mountain? How many use Walmart, Walgreens or Sam’s Club cards?

*Insurances? How many have Progressive Boat Insurance or Liberty Mutual products?

*Craftsman Tools? How many have a Sears card of some kind?

Every time you use one of those cards you finance (with money, credibility or influence), people like Schumer, Pelosi, Weinstein and more recently David Hogg. That’s how your new grill, that special new gun, boat or fishing reel translates to loss of liberty. Bank of America, Capital One, Citigroup, Synchrony and others are in this fight too. And, they’re sure as hell not on your side. Pay cash when you can.

EVERYBODY with a decent FICO score has received 0% offers on their credit card accounts. Those are hard to pass up sometimes when you need big-ticket items! But, there are always choices. Chose a lender that knows and respects the Constitution. They’re out there. Ask them point-blank where they stand. Wells Fargo is one.

Today on this board we respond to the actions of wealthy, elite Hollywood hypocrites. But, the elephants in the room are the banking systems that support them and every self-destructive jackass wanting to destroy the Constitution. If you can afford to sever ties with credit card umbilical cords here are a few addresses and a sample letter to include. It might not make a huge difference but you’ll feel better and you’ll still respect yourself in the morning. (Some are repetitive because billing correspondence doesn’t get the same treatment as a customer service letter). I canceled most of these through the 800 number on the back of the card and then followed up with a short letter.

Oh ya let’s all listen to a bunch on old washed up actors that have to act because they can’t get a real job

  • Nemo May 4, 2018, 10:18 am

I believe the worst thing about the NRA message is how offensive it is to the anti-gun, and unconcerned folks on the other side of the issues.

“Offensive” There it is, the shibboleth of the modern-day liberal social justice warrior. Thank you for properly identifying yourself as a concern troll.

You want to talk about ‘offensive’? How about what happened in Congress a few years back, with the anti-gun (Democrat) members staging a little virtue-signaling protest when they should have been properly debating the issue as they were hired to? Their contempt for the process they swore to abide by demonstrated an equal contempt for those who sent them there. That is truly ‘offensive’.

My late father, a Normandy invasion survivor, used to tell me that when you fight someone and get them mad, you see the truth under the mask. Pro-2A people have been fighting the anti-gunners for generations, have gotten them mad, and each and every time have correctly seen the truth behind their mask.

The closer they think they are getting to what they desire, the more careless they become about how ‘offensive’ their rhetoric becomes, the more that mask slips aside and the truth of what they really want becomes visible. And what is that truth? The same truth behind HL Mencken’s observation that the urge to save mankind is often a false front for the desire to rule it. They mean to be our rulers, plain and simple. And the underlying, unconscious arrogance of the (liberal) mind that can entertain such a desire is what should be offensive to all…and is what the 2A was meant to hold in check.

    • Luke May 5, 2018, 1:54 pm

And, HL Mencken was an optimist. LOL

  • Brian May 4, 2018, 10:13 am

I say mobilze all the Hollywood celebs that support 2A and stage a counter demonstation at the same time. It will hard for the media to ignore or minimize their presence when they are facing off their counterparts.

  • BRASS May 4, 2018, 10:08 am

Hit them where it hurts, don’t watch their shows, movies and write letters to the companies and products that buy the air time to sell their products. Don’t buy their products.

    Then they all go away.

  • BR549 May 4, 2018, 9:07 am

The thing with liberals is this; if they were to ever find a gun lying around or had to handle one, their biggest fear is that the gun ‘had it in for them’ and would try to kill them of its own accord. If they were to ever handle one, they just KNOW they’d blow their own foot off, so what better way to protect themselves (from themselves) than disarm EVERYONE under the pretext of “public safety” than admit their own shortcomings.

To them, a gun has a mind of its own; they can’t fathom that it is merely a tool, like a rake or a kitchen knife. They couldn’t possibly come to terms with their own insecurity, so it’s better to project the argument elsewhere and level the whole playing field by taking everyone else’s guns away. That way, in their own sick and twisted mind, no one would notice how insecure and inept these people really feel.

Of course, while all this personal drama is going on inside their head, it does NOTHING to address the real threat(s) in society that had even NORMAL people staying prepared. This, not surprisingly, is why liberals so easily adopt flash-in-the-pan, warm and fuzzy solutions that, on the short term, appear to be valid, but in the long run only make the problems worse.

  • joefoam May 4, 2018, 8:49 am

Are we talking about the same people that condoned and were complicit in a culture that allowed the sexual assaults that started the Metoo movement? Pretty brazen of them to try and tell the rest of us how to live our lives, and I’m sure as noted above they will have a huge posse of armed guards to protect them. What hypocrites!

  • JGinNJ May 4, 2018, 8:44 am

Yes they are idiots. It ought to backfire. But complacency is the enemy.
We should aggressively go after every movie that routinely demonstrates unsafe handling of weapons. Too many characters are not checking to see if a gun is loaded once they have one in hand. Can’t the producers be sued for their influence on accidents?
Characters wave their guns around with no repercussions. Machine guns appear to be common possessions of drug dealers or gang members. Can’t we picket theaters that show these movies and urge people to boycott popcorn?

    • Mike Price May 4, 2018, 5:52 pm

I for the most part I quite going to movies. They can’t make a good movie anymore unless it has some politically correct statement with multi culture cast and gay scenes in it to promote the gay movement. I’m done. The last new comedy out “blockers” I walked out of it after 20 minutes of the movie once I seen it was nothing but gay culture movie and got my money back.

We may disagree with these people but they have a right; 1st amendment; to express their views. Calling them names looks intolerant and homophobic. Not the ay to win the hearts and minds of our countrymen. Let’s use logic and reason please.

    • Area 52 May 4, 2018, 3:05 pm

I used to think that way too. Not anymore. The reason is these anti gun idiots whether they are celebrities or peons not only say they want gun restrictions, they want total gun bans. In other word they want to call me a criminal for private property I owned since I was 18. In addition the anti gun jerks hurl insults and degrading accusations at gun owners all the time. They say stuff like you own a gun to make up for a lack of manhood ( to put it politely) You are a coward that needs to hid behind a gun, other degrading trailer park comments etc. I am not going to take the so called “high road” and let them get their cheap shots in to degrade gun owners even further. I’m going to call them degrading names right back. Besides they way Hollywood and liberals support transgender and gays; calling them gay and a bunch of sissies to them is probably a complement.

Don’t repeat their names, don’t care what they do, let them know that they are paid to entertain and anything beyond that is their own personal business which has no value to the rest of us. Think about it – you and I have at least one thing in common but beyond that, how does my personal beliefs such as religion affect you and vice versa? Even if we were neighbors, co-workers or best friends personal beliefs are personal and the sphere of influence is limited to those who “see and know” those personal beliefs. Don’t give these hollywierd idiots the attention they crave. Ignore them. And respect and responsibility for everyone was my job. No gated community. And a thorough education on firearms safety 101. An important lesson that I still retain. And that’s why I have not shot anyone in my 35 years. Even if it would of been justified. And that’s why I despise the witch hunt of two people who have never known what a day to day money situation is like. Much less a non sheltered life at all? You can have your “bumpstocks”. • viettom May 4, 2018, 5:39 am

I believe the worst thing about the NRA message is how offensive it is to the anti-gun, and unconcerned folks on the other side of the issues.

We gun owners are following the Constitution, local laws, and behaving responsibly. Our rhetoric and message are not, and has not been effective. Time for something new, promoting family values, security, and self-defense, without trying to mock or name call the other side.

David Hogg has been a target of a crazy gunman. He deserves understanding and respect.

I wish the sons and daughters of red state landowners, shooters, hunters, collectors, merchants, and those who choose arms for defense and security were more effective in explaining why we own, shoot, and are prepared to defend our families and property with guns.

Alcohol and automobiles kill far more people than guns. Have you ever watched advertising for beer, cars, trucks, and motorcycles? The message is fun, glamor, and sex appeal.

Gun owners across the nation are being cast as ignorant, profane, uncaring, and unrealistic.

Gun owners will lose this fight continuing to belittle, curse, and treat anti-gunners as hysterical, fearful, and unknowing.

I don’t care that David Hogg is against the things I choose to believe and enjoy. Someone said he will soon end his fifteen minutes of fame. He might, but in the meantime, he is convincing other non-gunners to believe the same, and act as he does after being threatened by a shooter.

Those that think the second amendment is all we need to continue are the losers and unprepared. Change the song we are singing as much of the country is not choosing to dance with us!

    • Lennon May 4, 2018, 6:49 am

Very well said, we need to change our message

    • Ken May 4, 2018, 7:51 am

“David Hogg has been a target of a crazy gunman.”
When was that? By his own admission he was not at school the day of the attack, when someone called and told him it was going on he rode his bicycle to school. He was under fire like the Hildabeast was in Bosnia.

      “He deserves understanding and respect.”
Understanding? Yeah, I can see the political ambitions in his beady little eyes.

Respect is something that is earned. That little agitator has done nothing to earn my respect, and I don’t foresee a change in that situation.

    • Jerry Jones May 4, 2018, 12:11 pm

Viettom…….I’m Sorry but your posts ASSumes that anti-2A/anti-gun advocates are reasonable people capable of logical debate….but they’re not… they’re emotionally/fear motivated automatons…..and trying to have a rational discussion with them is like playing Chess with a pigeon….they’ll knock over the pieces…..poop all over the board and then strut around like they won.

    • Dr Motown May 4, 2018, 4:51 pm

Have you not been watching some of the NRA commercials over the last couple years? Nothing inflammatory…lots of explanation about how guns have saved lives…nothing belittling….and there are plenty of hunting and shooting shows on television already (if people want to find them). Unfortunately, anti-gunners, like all ideologues, are hysterical, fearful, and have NO DESIRE to learn. However, it would be interesting to see a gun commercial with “fun, glamor and sex appeal!”

    **** these whiny idiot obamaholes!

  • Gourdhead May 4, 2018, 3:50 am

Forgot to add that you can bet your last dollar the MSM will give these aholes more coverage than you can stand.

  • Gourdhead May 4, 2018, 3:26 am

“We\'[r]e a diverse, non-partisan coalition\”? You may be diverse in the left wing spectrum, but hardly non-partisan. Phuck you all including the little faggot Hogg.

      Well said.

Just need to make them and MSM economic targets. Zero in and hit them in the wallet. Make it expensive enough and they will stay home and shut up.

I don’t trust “hollywood elites”. They lie for a living. Nothing they say carries any weight or credibility. Why is little Hitler hogg in that pic? He isn’t a “survivor”. He wasn’t even in the same building as the one that the shootings took place in. He is a paid soros actor.

The NRA spends millions of dollars a year promoting gun safety, Hollywood A-holes pocket millions of dollars a year promoting and glorifying gun violence

  • Holly Brice May 3, 2018, 2:01 pm

When the NoRA stated that, \”We’re going to shine a bright light on what you and your organization to do America…\” They were wrong. this makes it seem like the NRA promotes gun violence. Even if guns become illegal this does not mean gun violence will stop. Because bad people who want to do harm will find away to obtain guns to do that harm.Holly
