Serial Number BMR7699 is a Breda Mechanica Romana made M-1 that was supplied to the Danish Military.  Hence the markings on the heel of the receiver of the Danish Crown with FKF  (Forsvarets Krigsmaterial Forvaltning) which loosely translated means “Defense  Armory Directorate.”

As shown in the photos, all the parts are marked BMB or BMR except Elevation knob which is marked VAR.  Correctly restored, except the serial numbers on the BMR stock and BMB bolt do not match the rifle's serial number.

Very few of these M-1’s made it back to the United States, and even rarer is NO IMPORT STAMP.

Bore condition is excellent, bright and sharp.   TE (throat erosion) is 2.0 and ME is  1 1/4.  Included is an original Danish Army sling, and a Danish Cleaning kit stored in the buttstock.
