Here are Original Equipment Magazines to fit the Sig Sauer P226 Pistols chambered in 9mm. Manufacturer was Mec-Gar s.r.l., of Gussago , Italy. Importer was NOT Mec-Gar USA, but another importer. Construction is heat treated steel, round count ported body with piano wire spring, steel inner plate and floor plate, smooth milled welded back, and high impact black polymer cartridge follower. Finish is matte blue steel body, with bright blue floorplate. Each magazine holds 15 rounds of 9mm caliber ammunition: 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, call it what you will, THE 9mm. These magazines will fit any Sig Sauer P226 full size pistol that is chambered in 9mm caliber. It will fit a Kel-Tec SUB 2000 carbine only if the 2000 is designed for P226 mags. It will fit Sig P228 and P229 pistols, but it will protrude from the 228’s and 229’s shorter grip frames. It will Not fit any other firearm. Each magazine comes lubricated in its original factory wrap, with an outer repackage by the distributors. Replacement pricing is $50 on sigsauer com.
