Login Contact Seller Description: The Fusion Freedom Series Government GI model is a classic 1911 configuration with a 5" GOV GI design, all-steel construction, and mil-spec style 70 series sights. The pistol features premium red cocobolo exotic hardwood grips and a precision gunsmith fitted frame slide and barrel. The frame slide and barrel are CNC machined from bar-stock, and the slide has a military-style design with a black oxide finished barrel. The pistol has a positive barrel lock-up for superior accuracy out of the box and a tuned power style extractor. It is compatible with standard Colt style replacement parts and has an arched mainspring housing. The pistol comes with a Fusion Limited Lifetime Warranty, one magazine, and has a mag capacity of 8+1. The pistol weighs 38.73oz without the mag. The Freedom Series Government GI model is a rugged 70 series pistol designed with the classic 1911 shooter in mind. It is equipped with basic old-school mil-spec attributes and stocked with Fusion Hand Select red cocobolo grips. The fitted frame slide and barrel are all precision CNC machined from solid billet bar-stock, not castings, and no 2-piece barrels. Minor additions or changes can be made prior to shipping through All Freedom series pistols are of all-steel construction with no plastic parts. The pistol keeps the tradition of craftsmanship alive and is now more affordable.
