John Browning designed Winchester Model 1890 Pump Takedown in .22 Short - 2nd version.
24" octagonal barrel, 22 rounds tube magazine, plain walnut stock with a slide-action pump weighing just 6lbs.
There is no damage or metal wear, only honest wear from use.
Bench test and inspection show this piece in fine working order, has a clean bore with strong rifling.
A twist of the thumb-screw and the barrel slides off the receiver, bringing it to half the size for backpack or stowing.
This is a Great Winchester/Browning design that will be in service for another hundred years.
