Here are factory Smith & Wesson Walnut Magna Style service grips for any K or L square butt grip frame revolver. Manufacturer was Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA. From their 500000 range serial numbers inside the right panels, these were manufactured between 1961 and 1965, and issued on Model 10s. These served, we are informed, with the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal with our next door neighbors. Construction is cut checkered walnut, with nickel plated brass logo medallions, brass escutcheons and steel or brass screw. These grips fit any Medium Frame Smith & Wesson Post World War II Revolver that has a Square Butt Grip Frame. That includes Models 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 45, 48, 56, 64, 65, 66, 67, 68, 581, 586, 617, 648, 681 and 686 in square butt grip frame only, mostly manufactured prior to 1996. Model 12 owners may need a substantial amount of fitting, since many of the Model 12s have thinner-than-normal grip frames. They are period correct for models 10, 12, 15, 17, 18, 19, 48, and their Pre-Numbered model mates manufactured before 1970. Finish is original oil, with Diamond pattern around the escutcheon as the photos show. Surface detractions are minimal to moderate, pricinpally edge wear. We classify them all as Very Good Condition, 80 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Each set comes with an original correct factory nickel screw, brass escutcheon, and nickel factory medallion. This is probably the last Diamond Magnas we’ll have.
