It does Not make an AR15 style rifle legal in California or in any jurisdiction where they are prohibited by law. Here are older style bullet button releases that in the past put AR15 rifles into compliance with California regulations, but no longer. Manufacturer was Not the firm that goes by the trademark Bullet Button, but rather a subcontractor in Minnesota. These were manufactured some 7 years ago. Construction is 4 pieces of steel, including its spring. The idea was to replace the rifle’s magazine release with one of these and require the operator to use a tool, including a loaded cartridge’s bullet end, to release the magazine from the rifle. These came from new rifles; they were replaced with conventional releases. They have been repackaged in their replacements’ packaging. We’re offering them each for only $ 9.00.
