This listing is for One set of grips and ONE adapter. Here is a means to restore a Smith & Wesson K or L Revolver to 1970s style ergonomics and aesthetics. Grips are attractive, durable polymer grips that rival the exotically expensive Rogers Black Buffalo Horn Originals, and with improvements to boot. Adapter is brushed alloy finish type on the order of old Mr. Melvin Tyler’s invention from the 1960s. Grips are black gloss finish, polymer replacement grips to fit Smith & Wesson Medium Frame Revolvers known as the K and L Frame Series Square Butt. That includes models 10, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 64, 65, 66, 67, 581, 586, 681, and 686. These will Not fit a round butt K frame. Type is Magna or Service size standard panels. Construction is checkered surface hard polymer, with correctly refinished medallions. Grip finish is glossy black Brownell’s Dura, with small amounts of freckling from the multi coat finishing process. The process affects the interior grip surfaces so that alone, grips will show gap between the panels and the revolver’s grip frame; the Adapter, however, compensates for that gap well enough. Thes grip / adapter combos will only fit Smith & Wesson Medium K or L Frame Revolvers with a square butt grip frame. They will Not fit a Smith & Wesson Round Butt Revolver, will Not fit a J or M or N frame. The Rogers original black horn grips sell for upwards of $300 a set. Competing black panels like these price out at what our entire combo sells for; and theirs have a psychedelic look while ours are thoroughly traditional.
