It features a 3.25" defender configuration and is made entirely of steel, with no plastic parts. The frame, slide, and barrel are precision CNC machined from bar-stock, and the gun is fitted by a skilled gunsmith. The pistol has a single-sided thumb safety and beavertail grip safety, as well as a tuned power style extractor and a beveled magazine entrance. The barrel is target crowned for accuracy and easy cleaning, and the pistol has a positive barrel lock-up for superior accuracy out of the box. The ejection port is lowered and relieved for improved performance, and the commander hammer is lightweight for faster cycling. The pistol has Novak compatible sight cuts for easy sight change out, and comes with premium red cocobolo exotic hardwood grips. The Fusion Freedom Series Bantam has a mag capacity of 6+1 and weighs 32.84oz without the mag. It comes with one magazine and is backed by Fusion's limited lifetime warranty. This classic 70 series pistol is compatible with standard Colt style replacement parts and is designed for carry comfort, with a rounded butt of frame and mainspring housing.
