THIS is a brand new M&P Shield still in the box. It has never been fired. It has never been loaded.  I think this is first time I took it out of box in 1.5 years. Reason for sale is in my profile..

It has a textured polymer frame and black stainless steel slide and barrel.

This is an excellent choice for concealed carry, open carry or emergency personal car defense.. When defense of you and family is demanded, S&W is what will defend you.. It is the ultimate equalizer, no matter what size your attackers are or multiple attackers.

Before I purchased this I saw dozens of YouTube videos showcasing this brilliant handgun. Reviews for this heater is phenomenal.. Based on that, I fired this SHIELD type at gun ranges in Mesa AZ..

It has little to no kick back. I was shooting 115 grain 122 grain, 138 grain and 155 grain rounds with their counter guns. I shot three S&Ws. But even at 122 or 115 grain rounds, this would be an excellent defense weapon for a woman also. It has a thumb safety,  i prefer on my weapons as well as first time gun owners for that extra piece of mind.. 

Taking lessons and getting to the shooting range is required to become proficient.  For when the time is needed to defend yourself, there can be no time for second guessing or ambivalence. That's why proficiency training is needed.
