Kimber 82 Government 22LR Competition Bolt Action Rifle
Manufactured for the U.S. Army in the 1980s, and later released to the public via the Civilian Marksmanship Program. Globe front, the "U S" marking on the receiver, accessory rail on the underside of the forearm, adjustable hand stop, with a walnut pistol grip buttstock with solid recoil pad and 3 plastic spacers.
This rifle is in very good shape given its age, as you can see there is some wear and tear on the stock and grip, but it is very minimal. The action is sharp and crisp, and ejects shells as it is supposed to. The bluing does show some mild use but it can be cleaned up and oiled with no issues. The stampings and markings are proud and very crisp, and visible. The barrel is clean, bright and shows very little residue of gunpowder. Overall condition is very good, and we believe this would be a great addition to anyone's safe.
