.32 Cal. Small revolver, manufactured between 1864 - 1870 by Moore's Patent Firearms Co. and National Firearms Co. Functional hooked extractor on the right side of the frame, National Firearms stamp on barrel. Williamson's patent stamp on 6 rd. cylinder. Left side of frame under smooth birds's head walnut grips stamped JH34, plus 28484 on under side of barrel. Brass frame with light decorative engraving. Condition: good appearance, light impact marks on bottom of barrel, good grips with handling marks (mostly on left). Proper mechanical functioning . These small revolvers were very popular with Union Officers as personal weapons during the Civil War.
