From their careers on training pistols with the Federal West German Police comes these Outer Pins for Sig P series pistols. Manufacturer was Sig Sauer gmbh of Eckenforde, Germany. Production dates were late 1970s to early 1980s. The training pistols were the final pieces of the forty some odd thousand Federal West German Police issue P6 pistols that we and our colleagues have highly enjoyed selling for the previous 2 decades. Construction is rolled steel. Dimensions are .138 to .139 inch diameter; and .960 to .995 inch length. These are correct for Sig Sauer P series pistols with carbon slides, including models P6, P220, P224, P225, P226, P228, P229, and P239. These pins were taken off pistols whose slides, barrels, and frames were all demilled, so they were never actually fired very much, just used for training. Replacement pricing often runs upwards of $20 apiece for these pins. We’re offering the ones we have, however, each for only $ 9.90.
