Pietro Beretta  Italian made M-1 Garand
Too much of a story about  these rare and interesting Garands,  but if you email     I will be glad to email you a couple of articles dealing with how two Italian manufacturers acquired Winchester production equipment and became the preferred supplier to the rest of the NATO members in the early 1950’s.
Made in 1955,   

Serial Number 7931  is a Beretta made M-1..   Side of the receiver marked BERETTA-ARMI, ROMA-ITALIA.   Supplied to the Danish Military, hence the markings on the heel of the receiver of the Danish Crown with FKF  (Forsvarets Krigsmaterial Forvaltning) which loosely translated means  “Defense  Armory Directorate.”

As shown in the photos, all the parts are marked PB.  Correctly restored, except the serial numbers on the PB stock and PB bolt do not match the rifle's serial number.
Very few of these M-1’s made it back to the United States, and even rarer is NO IMPORT STAMP.
 

Bore condition is excellent, bright and sharp.   TE (throat erosion) is 2.0 and ME is  3/4.   Included is an original Danish Army sling, and a Danish Cleaning kit stored in the buttstock.
