From storage with the Spanish Guardia come these two factory magazines that fit the Star model BS pistols, or the Super B pistols, or the late 1960s model B pistols whose magazine well was Not slotted on the grip frame's front strap, and all of which were chambered in 9mm caliber. Manufacturer was Star Bonifacio Echeverria y CIA of Eibar, Kingdom of Spain. Construction is entirely steel: one piece folded steel body, steel floorplate, steel cartridge follower, and steel one piece spring. Note that the steel inner plates are missing on this pair, from adventurous Guardia Officers who forgot to put them back in. Right slide is slotted for round count. Finish is tig welded smooth milled back, brushed surface blued steel, and matte chrome cartridge follower. Each magazine holds 9 rounds of 9mm caliber ammunition. These magazines will only fit .38 ACP Caliber or 9mm Luger caliber, or 9mm Largo caliber Star model BS, Star model Super B, or Star model B without any slot in the grip frame, all of them pistols manufactured by Star Echeverria in Spain. They will not fit any other pistols. They won’t free fall eject, but they work. Apart from the missing pieces, surface detractions are moderate, some wear from weathering and years of storage. We have not cleaned them internally, and they usually need that. There have been none of these magazines produced since 1997.
