It also was designed to help law enforcement transition from double action revolvers to semi autos because this has a feature where it can be switched with the turn of a button from DOA to Traditional DA. 

These were manufactured from 1991 to 1998. 

It comes with a 15 round magazine and this gun is near mint condition.
