The Ruger New Model Vaquero was created for the 21st century Cowboy Action Shooting shooters. The Ruger New Vaquero has the weight, balance, and many of the features of the original 1873 Colt it draws its inspiration from while possessing a smaller frame and cylinder. Bearing safety in mind, Ruger designed the New Vaquero such that it can be loaded with rounds in all six chambers while being safe to carry. This Ruger New Vaquero, serial number 3, is chambered in the potent .357 Magnum round and is compatible with .38 Special for more economical shooting. Manufactured in 2007, this revolver possesses a mirrored bore, 98% bluing overall, and 99% case coloring evident on the frame. There is light holster wear on the ejector sleeve. Adorned with beautiful custom fitted stag horn grips, this revolver also comes with Ruger’s original factory grips, hard case, and manual. Thanks for looking
