From a mid-west sale, a antique 41 rim fire cal. center hammer single shot, slide barrel derringer. 2 1/2" rifled bore, round barrel. The wood stock is solid as a rock; however, it has a crack on the left side, at the sale they side it was common for this model (see photos). Brass barrel slide, back strap, trigger guard and nose cap (see photos). The the barrel slides forward to load (see photos). The barrel slide function perfectly: however when I try to cock the hammer I meet resistance. I don't want to try forcing the hammer and am not going to try to take a gun this old apart; therefore, since I can not guarntee this gun I am listing it at a low price and with no reserve (see my feedback).
