Description:

This S&W First Model appears to have been fired little, it shows a clean, bright bore and bright cylinders. Has no carbon buildup or flashing on the cylinder face or recoil shield.

The nickel finish around the barrel has tarnished, with a spattering of patchy areas which are smooth to the touch.

The metal surfaces retain about 95% original bright nickel finish, with a small flake showing at the grip's butt.

The hammer retains much of the original color case-hardened finish. The spur trigger has turned a soft patina of blue hues.

All metal markings are correct and crisp, all the numbered parts are serialized to the frame.

The factory diamond checkered hard rubber grips rate excellent. The inside right panel is factory numbered to the revolver. 

Actions timing and ejection works perfectly and the cylinder locks-up tight. This revolver is very solid.
