Winchester model 42 .410ga pump-action shotgun, hand-stamped trap, beautiful double diamond wood, solid rib, and cylinder bored. Trap-grade guns were discontinued just prior to WWII, and this serial number puts it just post-war. Whether it is a carry-over, we do not know, as there are no factory records. A lovely little gun with a lot of appeal.
