The rail is hardened to 45-50 Rc for a tougha nd strong mounting platform. Other features include a 5 degree case deflector angle milled on the underside of rail and the proven Brookfield-type 3-point contact design. Includes all mounting hardware, fasteners, and hex wrenches and detailed instructions. This specific rail was mounted on an M1A scout squad but was never exposed to live fire or outdoor use.
