This is the regular Ruger model 77r mk 2 with a walnut stock and polished metal work. But it is one of a very small number built in 300 SAUM . The gun is light and handles well. The 300 SAUM had an unsuccessful introduction in 2001 but in the past few years has been recognized for it's accuracy potential. It's power is between the 30-06 and the 300 Win. Mag. leaning somewhat toward the 300 side. This is a nice light rifle with a checkered stock with Ruger's well built action. We are very pleased to be able to offer this rifle; a hard fine yet still new in the box. Some Ruger experts are considering this rifle in this caliber to be a collectible. Remington offers two loads in 300 SAUM; one in a 150 gr. Core-Lokt, and another in a 165 gr. Core-lokt. Nosler offers no less than 10 different loads ranging from 150 gr. to 200 gr. in the Ballistic Tip; E-Tip, AccuBond, and Partition.
