Description: This is a Ruger Carger Takedown model in 22 LR. It is a brand new gun and ships with a 15 round BX-15 magazine. The gun will accept any Ruger 10/22 magazines from 10 to over 50 rounds. The gun is equipped with a bipod and a threaded barrel, with a thread protector. It has a Green Mountain laminate stock with polymer handgrip. The gun will accept most AR type pistol grips (you may have to trim one of the upper lugs of the grip). There are no sights, but a picatinny rail is afixed to the receiver. The takedown feature makes this gun very easy to travel with, for example: in a backpack. The takedown is very easy. A lever in front of the magazine well is pushed and the barrel is rotated 90 degrees. Barrel lockup is excellent.
