Fixed iron sights, 3 1/2" barrel, seven shot cylinder, grips are perfect, and Nickel plating is in great condition. The barrel is marked PAT. MCH 28. 71 MAY 27. 79. - Revolvers using the Czar name were made by both Hopkins & Allen, and the Hood Firearms Co. both located in Norwich Connecticut. The CZAR markings are on the top of the frame. Barrel marked 5591, Action works perfectly. H&A widely advertised the CZAR but they are seldom seen. H&A made some outlandish claims that the CZAR could kill farther than other revolvers and was a dead shot at 100 yards. This gun is in GREAT condition with minor scratches and wear for the age. Factory engraved.
