This is a good example in fully functioning condition. 33 ¾” barrel is good. Surface bluing shows spotty oxidation wear, blue loss. The bore remains clean with crisp rifling. Barrel is marked several times at the breech; Please see photographs for individual marks. The action is good with a browned surface; Surface wear present. Bolt action functions flawlessly; This gun utilizes a 4-round interior mag well. Trigger functions flawlessly; Trigger guard shows surface wear. Original cleaning rod intact. The stock remains very good with light general handling wear; No breaks or cracks noted. Left side of stock is marked with a large “1888” cartouche with matching serial number to the stock. Buttplate shows surface, oxidation wear.
