Description: This Lyman Great Plains pistol in .54 caliber is in excellent shape. I bought it "used" in the original box, but that was because it was bought and returned to the dealer and he had to resell it as used. I have only fired it two or three times. It has a couple of very small indentations and the finish is still intact in these areas. If you look closely you MAY be able to see them as they are on the lock side of the pistol. The head of the take-down wedge is scratched. The tip of the brass ramrod is discolored. The finish on one of the edges/corners of the hex barrel on the left side has about an inch scratch and barely noticeable because it is on the corner and not on the flat, but otherwise the pistol is in excellent/ like-new condition. Overall length is approx. 14 inches with the barrel being about 7 3/4 inches. Buyer pays actual shipping cost. I am a private, first time seller, so pardon any information I have left out. Personal checks accepted, but the pistol will be held until your check clears. If you live in a state that is a hassle to sell or ship to, please do not bid - you guys in CA, NY, etc. 3-day inspection only period. Returns accepted if not as described.
