How about a model 64 Winchester in 38-55 wcf? I didn't think so. I've heard rumors such guns exist, but I've not run across any in the 50 years I've been involveed in gun collecting. The goal was to take the most graceful rifle Winchester ever made, the model 64, and make it capable of shooting two very fine cartridges - the 30-30 and the potent 38-55 wcf, a fine timber cartridge! Offered for your consideration is this fine, custom model 64 Winchester takedown rifle with two barrel sets - one in 38-55 wcf and one in 30-30. The rifle and both barrel sets are in as new condition. The metal and wood have been completely restored to factory new condition. All polishing was done by hand, all lettering is crisp and sharp, all edges are sharp as they came from the factory. The bores on both barrels are in new condition. A model 64 barrel was professionally rebored to 38-55 and I want to be very clear - this is NOT a factory 38-55 model 64. Both barrels have been test fired and the headspace is perfect.
