Here is Smith & Wesson’s factory issue magazine for its SW9, Sigma, Polymer Frame Pistols chambered in 9mm. It fits models SW9, SW9F, SW9V, and SW9VE. It will fit the current production SD9, but its floorplate will not match the butt of the SD’s grip frame. It will NOT fit the SW9C Compact that used a single stack magazine and was constructed of pot metal. Manufacturer is Check-Mate Industries, Smith & Wesson’s principal magazine contractor for the past 40 years. Exclusive distributor is Smith & Wesson of Springfield, MA; and each magazine bears the factory S&W Logo. Construction is stainless steel body with round count ports and dressed seam welded back, steel spring and stop plate, with white polymer cartridge follower and black shovel nose polymer floor plate. Each magazine holds 16 rounds of 9mm Ammunition, 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, call it what you will, THE 9mm. Each magazine comes in its original Smith & Wesson package. One sees these often priced in the $50 range. Word is that they are now discontinued anyway. We’re offering the magazines in the photos, however, or their identical mates, each for only $ 19.00.
