Here is Mec-Gar’s compliant magazine to fit Later model Taurus PT92 and PT99 series pistols, manufactured since about 1990, with their magazine release beside the trigger guard. Manufacturer is Mec-Gar s.r.l. of Brescia, Italy. Importer and warrantor is Mec-Gar USA of Meriden, CT. Construction is heat treated steel body and spring, high impact polymer floorplate and cartridge follower. Finish is polished blued steel and semi gloss black polymer. Each magazine holds 10 rounds of 9mm ammunition: 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, call it what you will, THE 9mm. That is 5 fewer rounds than the standard PT9215B magazine. The compliancy block tail piece is visible in the photos. These magazines fit any Taurus PT92 or PT99 pistol with its magazine release beside its trigger guard. They also fit models PT92C with the same magazine release, only they will protrude from the 92C’s grip frame. They will NOT work in an old model PT92 or PT99 that has a European type magazine release on the left lower side of its grip frame. They will NOT fit a Beretta 92 pistol. They will NOT fit the dump lever of a 1947 John Deere manure spreader. They will only fit Taurus PT92 and PT99 pistols chambered in 9mm caliber and manufactured since about 1990.
