Features include 30-inch octagon-to-round barrel with a muzzle diameter of .840-inch. Front sight is numbered "212", barrel is not drilled and folding aperture is unmarked. Bore is bright and strong. Bottom flat is marked "Remington Arms Co, Ilion, NY", "38.55" and "10768". Weight is 9.7 pounds and length of pull is 13 inches. Locks up tight. It appears to have an older, well-executed refinish. Barrel finish is about 65% with general thinning and browning. Receiver colors show about 70%. The well-figured wood is very good as well, with scattered light impressions and strong checkering.
