This listing is for One revolver. From the Charter Arms vault comes a unique prototype specimen of the Chic Lady and Lavender Lady variants of Charter’s Undercover Lite revolver series. We call it, a Lavender Chic Lady. Manufacturer and warrantor is Charter Arms of Shelton, CT. Factory variant number is 53853C, with hand lettered C suffix on the box. The regular Chic Lady is pink framed; this revolver and its mate are both Lavender colorized. From their serial number prefixes, one was manufactured in 2011, and the other in 2013. Type is Centennial style double action only, true swingout revolver with internal hammer. Chambering is .38 Smith & Wesson Special caliber. Construction is steel barrel, cylinder assembly, hammer, trigger, and internal parts built into an alloy main frame and grip frame, with factory rubber combat finger groove grips. Barrel is one piece 2 inch, threaded into the frame, with six groove right hand 18 3/4 rifling in a full lug shroud. Sights are solid rib integral ramp front with frame integral fixed notch rear. Cylinder is 5 shot, and the Charter accepts ammunition from a 36A size speedloader. Trigger is .300 serrated face, with internal hammer. Charters generally pull double action in the 12 – 14 pound vicinity. Ignition is floating firing pin, with transfer bar safety mechanism that prevents the hammer from contacting the pin unless the trigger is fully depressed. Weight empty is 14 ounces, center of gravity at the trigger point. Finish is factory polished stainless barrel, cylinder assembly, and furniture; matching polished alloy grip frame, with black grips; and with Lavender tone anodized main frame assembly. Neither revolver of the pair were ever out of Charter Corporate Custody until now. Each one comes in its factory hard shell case with protective papers, instruction manual, factory registration card, and gun lock. Similar revolvers from Taurus, Smith & Wesson, and Ruger command prices upwards of $800 apiece.
