Great condition showing little signs of use. The left side of the Colt shows an "idiot scratch" where the disassemble and reassemble pin is located, not uncommon, but could have been easily avoided. One factory magazine that appears, like the rest of the gun, in unused condition. No box or paperwork. DETAILS Cal. 10mm Auto. S# DS12653. Bbl. 5" stainless; lightly throated & polished w/ corresponding feed ramp. Mfg. 1989 (1) having polished sides & matte edges. A very powerful semi-auto pistol that is almost equal to the 41 magnum in sheer power. Originated by renowned author & pistol expert, Jeff Cooper; first offered in Bren Ten. The 10mm Auto has approx. twice the energy of 45 ACP. The potency of the cartridge required Colt to cut the hole for slide stop functioning completely up through the frame to avoid cracks. The grips are Pebble grained wrap around rubber grips w/distinctive Delta Elite red triangle w/in black circle medallions. Standard Colt controls w/ Commander style hammer, long smooth stainless trigger w/out over travel stop, slightly beveled mag. well, bright stainless grip screws & grooved arched mainspring housing. MAGS: 1 Colt stainless 8 rd. w/ Delta Elite logo removable base. CONDITION: very faint function marks on bbl. at the port and the "idiot scratch" mentioned above; all other aspects are near excellent.
