Overall, consistent with a gun made in the 18th century, including nicely curled trigger. Has proofs on the barrel, possibly Italian. Metal parts have fine engraving and a light patina overall. Stock is nicely carved overall and wire inlaid in the butt with a scimitar on the right side. There is a little chipping around the buttcap and a small filled spot present.
