Login Contact Seller Description: Excellent Smith & Wesson 44 Magnum Hand Ejector Revolver with Factory Presentation Case serial #S180318, 44 Magnum, 4" barrel with a bright excellent bore. The metal surfaces of this pre-model 29 revolver retain about 99% original blue showing some very faint operational wear along the cylinder and perhaps a few minor handling marks. The target hammer and trigger retain 98% vibrant case-hardened colors. The checkered walnut "coke bottle" grips with silver S&W medallions are un-numbered and remain in excellent condition showing slightly worn finish, a couple small handling marks along the right panel and crisp checkering throughout. The revolver is sighted with red ramp front sight and white outline adjustable rear and the action seems to function well mechanically with solid timing and lock-up. The included dark blue leatherette presentation case rates very fine showing a couple areas of minor separation around the edges and some light handling marks along the exterior. The embossed S&W logo and "44 MAGNUM" on the lid are intact, the gold fill having taken on a dark green tone. The interior light blue satin lining shows some small tears from the sight and hammer spur and some minor foxing while the lid panel is loose. All three original accessories are present and remain in excellent condition. A wonderful example of a very late-production Pre-29 for the Smith & Wesson collector.
