The Winchester Model 1912 (also known as the Model 12 or M12) became a instant hit on its introduction. Based on a John Browning design using a sliding forearm or "pump action" to cycle the mechanism offering rapid operation earning the gun the epithet of 'the perfect repeater.' All Model 12's are built in a take down configuration. A couple of easy operations separates the gun into two smaller transportable pieces with all parts captive, making for easy cleaning and efficient storage.
This beautifully restored gun has all the great Deluxe Pigeon grade features including jeweled bolt and lifter, skeet forend and checkered stock using gorgeous figured American black walnut with hand-rubbed oil finish, Winchester solid rib, matted receiver and fully engraved with hunting dogs and birds lavishly embossed with gold and bordered with refined chiseling in the Winchester No 5 pattern. Weighing 7lb 12oz, with its mirrored bore choked full, this pump gun is set up for trap or a day in the wild gunning for waterfowl.
