The Winchester Model 12 has been a famed gun for upland game and clay target games, having won many National Championships on the trap and skeet fields. Known throughout the world as the very finest pump action shotgun ever made, these guns were hand fitted and machined to perfection. From the skeet and trap fields to the upland bird cover, even in the 3 major wars, the Model 12 has been a favorite of American gunners for over 100 years. The Model 12 we are showing here is NEW AND UNFIRED, HAVING ONLY BEEN ASSEMBLED A FEW TIMES SINCE BEING MADE IN 1961. Even though a simple Field Grade gun with no extras, she is gorgeous and definitively new. The gun wears sn1919742, a 28” Full choke plain barrel, unblemished wood without a handling mark, and the metal has only a few light handling marks. The gun has been racked but a few times, and there is no primer ring on the face of the bolt, indicating an unfired gun. Everything inside is shiny new. We have no box, but to find a 58 year old Winchester Model 12 that is still unfired and in 99.75% perfect condition is a true treasure and a grand investment gun to own. It is not such a valuable gun that you could not have some fun and go out and shoot some game or clays, and the gun will still hold its value.
