This Model 1903 rifle is dated "12-42" on the barrel. Rifle remains in very good, fully functioning condition! 24" barrel is very good with matte finish; Dated "12-42". The bore remains clean with crisp rifling. Barrel bands intact; Front lacking screw. The action remains very good and clean with crisp markings; Rear peep sight installed. Bolt action and trigger function flawlessly. The stock is good with a couple chips; One along buttplate and one behind receiver. The middle barrel band has made a couple light grooves in the wood stock.
