It has no more than a couple of hundred rounds fired through it during all these years. It is in outstanding condition with a very few, very faint scratches which are almost unavoidable even with the extreme care I have shown it. Year of Manufacture: 1981 Caliber: .45 ACP Action Type: Single Action Semi-Auto. Comes with one 7-round Colt Factory stainless steel Magazine and two additional after market stainless steel magazines. Markings: Left side of the slide: “Colt’s Mark IV/Series 70 / Government Model / .45 Automatic Caliber”. Right side of the slide: “Colt’s Government Model”. Right side of the frame: “Colt’s P.T.F.A. Mfg. Co. Hartford, Conn. U.S.A.” and the serial number. Barrel Length: 5”. The Stainless Steel Barrel is marked “Colt .45 Auto / Mark IV/Series ’70 Grip: Black wraparound checkered rubber in perfect condition. Finish: Factory original stainless steel and chrome. The bore is bright and the rifling is deep without any perceivable erosion. I will ship this pistol free of charge to an FFL only after payment has cleared my bank.
