This unit has everything still together. All numbers match. The grips are like new. Note- the holster carries the same manufacture date as the pistol. Looks like they have been together since birth. The leather is in excellent condition. The mysterious "staking" on the top of the slide shows one mark on this example. Some authority suggests this refers to #1 condition in the opinion of some armorer. The finish appears to be original- no reblue or repark. Slight holster wear. Barrel is mirror bright. The "X53" mark indicates the pistol was manufactured and accepted by the army in 1953. I have sold several CZ52 pistols. This is one of my last 4 which I had considered "keepers" just in case I changed my mind about liquidating my collection. In case you are unfamiliar with these CZ guns, they were manufactured in the Czech Republic by Ceska Zbrojovka, used by the Czech military and police. They are of a unique design and durability. This pistol carries the Czech army acceptance proof. The CZ52 is an original design by CZ, using the same type locking mechanism as the German Mod. 42 (MG42) machine gun. I know of no other pistol with this rolling design. I have found the CZ52 to be extremely strong and reliable. A friend and I have run thousands of rounds through our "test" guns [ammo is dirt cheep] without one failure. This is not that gun. The Czech 7.62x25 round was also used with small CZ machine guns so there were zillions of rounds of the stuff manufactured which makes it possible to find the stuff for less than 12cents a round. For shooting practice, fun, and affordability you cannot find a better combination than the CZ 52 and the 7.62x25 round. Oh yes, I have never broken a firing pin because I have never been so foolish as to dry fire a pistol. If interested, ask for more photos. PAYMENT OPTIONS- I only accept USPS money orders.
