Description:
We are offering for sale a Browning Lightning SUPERPOSED O/U shotgun chambered in 20 Ga. Top barrel choked MOD, under barrel choked IMP. I believe this gun was manufactured in the late 1960's (1966?). Gun is in very good, functioning condition.
26 ½” barrels are excellent retaining 98% original bluing with only the lightest handling wear. Barrels have solid rib and a front bead sight. Bores are excellent; Mirror bored without wear. Choked MOD/IMP. Both barrels have ejectors. Fully engraved receiver is very good with some light handling wear; Minor freckling along shoulder stock edge. Break action works flawlessly. Shoulder stock shows the most wear with several handling marks; Very small closed crack starting at the end of the tang. Fore-end is very good with light wear. Both pieces show excellent checkering. Hard rubber "Pachmayr" recoil pad.
