We have for auction a beautiful new in box Colt Diamondback Double Action Target Revolver with a 6 inch full ventilated rib barrel chambered in .22 long rifle. This fantastic vintage Diamondback retains 100% of the factory High Luster Colt Royal Blue finish. Comes with all the shipping documents, and the original matching numbered box with foam liner. The revolver is in immaculate condition, and according to Colt documented records, it was manufactured in 1979. This revolver has been preserved like new for 33 years. We carefully removed the dried oil/grease in order to take the photos for this listing. If you are looking for an absolutely beautiful as new example for your collection, you have found it. This gun wears a beautiful set of color matching checkered wood grips with gold Colt medallions. The grips are in the exact same condition as the gun with no chips,marks or issues and are color/grain matched. To complete the package is the original wood grain box complete with the original gold end label matching this guns specifics exactly. The outer box is in excellent all original condition with no issues or repairs with all ears and flaps attached. There is no tape or repairs to this box. The photos show that it does have some light shelf wear, but that is expected after 33 years. This gun has never been cock or cylinder turned since it left the factory.
